The Space Imagery Center at the University of Arizona will conduct the next workshop on planetary photogrammetry from April 2 to 5 2024.

These workshops, supported by NASA’s Topical Workshops, Symposia, and Conferences program, introduce the fundamental principles of stereophotogrammetry and structure-from-motion (SfM) techniques. Participants gain hands-on experience with applications such as BAE System’s SOCETSET, Ames Stereo Pipeline, and Agisoft Metashape.

Details can be accessed at: https://sic.lpl.arizona.edu/planetary-photogrammetry-workshops

Registration is required by March 4. There is no fee to attend, but participants are responsible for their own travel expenses. The Space Imagery Center will offer two travel grants of up to $2000 each that focus on new planetary students from underrepresented communities. Travel grant applications are also due on March 4.

Due to the specialized hardware required for SOCETSET, attendance is in-person only and is limited to 10 people. We will confirm your spot shortly after registration for each workshop closes. Please do not make any travel arrangements until we confirm we have a place for you.
