Astrobiologist Dale Andersen Antarctic Status Report 22 November 2017: Nice Weather

Dale Andersen sent this message on 22 November 2017 3:00:56 AM EST: “We have a second day of nice weather with clear skies and light winds which is quite helpful to us.”

“Later this afternoon or evening I will pull the melting coil and chip out areas of ice as needed. Yesterday I filled my dive tanks and later today I will pull my mask, regulators, thermal suit and dry suit from storage and get them ready to go.I think I will be able to dive tomorrow if the weather holds out for another couple of days. That would be quite a help.

All for now, time for breakfast and a new day at Lake Untersee!”
