We describe the result of our numerical orbit simulation which traces dynamical evolution of new comets coming from the Oort Cloud. We combine two dynamical models for this purpose.

Ionizing Radiation Exposure On Arrokoth Shapes A Sugar World
The flyby of the New Horizons spacecraft of the Kuiper Belt Object Arrokoth revealed its reddish appearance and unraveled the unexpected presence of a methanol-rich surface.
Ice Chemistry Modeling of Active Phase Comets: Hale-Bopp
We present a chemical kinetics model of the solid-phase chemical evolution of a comet, beginning with a long period of cold-storage in the Oort Cloud, followed by five orbits that […]
Meteor Showers Shed Light on Where Comets Formed in the Early Solar System
An international team of 45 researchers studying meteor showers has found that not all comets crumble the same way when they approach the Sun. In a paper published in the […]
The Pre-perihelion Evolution of the Activity of Comet C/2017 K2 (PANSTARRS) During the Water Ice-line Crossover
Comets, relics from the early solar system, consist of dust and ice. The ice sublimates as comets approach the Sun, ejecting dust from their nuclei seen as activity. Different volatiles […]
Dust And Volatiles In The Disintegrating Comet C/2019 Y4 (ATLAS)
C/2019 Y4 (ATLAS) is an Oort cloud comet with an orbital period of ∼5895yr. Starting in March 2020, its nucleus underwent disintegration.
Volatile-rich Comets Ejected Early On During Solar System Formation
Comet C/2016 R2 PanSTARRS (hereafter C/2016 R2) presents an unusually high N2/CO abundance ratio, as well as a heavy depletion in H2O, making it the only known comet of its […]
