Lucas Patty, Senior Researcher, University of Bern
Lucas Patty is a senior researcher at the University of Bern, affiliated with the Center for Space and Habitability and the ARTORG Center for Biomedical Engineering Research. His research focuses on spectroscopy and polarimetry, with applications in astrobiology, planetary science, and biomedical imaging. A central theme of his work is the use of circular polarization as a remotely detectable signature of biological chirality. He develops highly sensitive spectropolarimetric instrumentation for laboratory, field, and airborne measurements.
