Editor’s note: As I mentioned in an earlier post last month, the prime reason for being at AdGradCon – Astrobiology Graduate Conference – (https://abgradcon.org) is to focus on – AbGradCon. But, as you know, sharing what you have learned, your enthusiasm for the topic, and your interest in helping advance the discipline of Astrobiology are also important.

As you post things (and you should) on social media using some basic hashtags will help interested parties see what is happening and also will help people like me to find and then re-broadcast things to much wider audience.

As such, IMHO if you put #AbGradCon #Astrobiology tags on your pictures and posts you’ll be using terms most likely to get people’s attention. Other tags (in addition) can help further refine your reach – but using #AbGradCon #Astrobiology makes it easy for your postings to reach the widest possible audience (and help me find your stuff).

I will be more than happy to post or link to anything you wish to write after the event – observations, contact information, positions sought – whatever. You can reach me at kcowing – at- http://astrobiology.comKeith Cowing, editor.
