The NASA Physical Sciences (PS) program is part of the Biological and Physical Sciences Division. This program element will investigate physical phenomena in the absence of gravity and fundamental laws that describe the universe, and conducts applied research that contributes to the basic understanding of processes underlying space exploration technologies.

More information about the Physical Sciences Program can be found at, https://science.nasa.gov/biological-physical/programs/physical-sciences/. More information about Fundamental Physics can be found at: https://science.nasa.gov/biological-physical/focus-areas/fundamental-physics/

ROSES-2025 Amendment 50 announces that E.2 Physical Sciences Research Studies, which was TBD, will not be solicited in ROSES-2025. However, it may be solicited in ROSES-2026, to be released in Summer of 2026.

On or about March 25, 2026, this Amendment to the NASA Research Announcement “Research Opportunities in Space and Earth Sciences (ROSES) 2025” (NNH25ZDA001N) will be posted on the NASA research opportunity homepage at https://solicitation.nasaprs.com/ROSES2025 and will appear on SARA’s ROSES blog at: https://science.nasa.gov/researchers/solicitations/roses-2025/
