“We are almost ready for the traverse to Lake Untersee but today and tomorrow we will have high winds and blowing snow with white-out conditions so we will remain here in the warmth and safety of the huts located at Novolazarevskaya. Hopefully the weather will break on Monday and we can begin the 6 to 8 hour traverse inland to the mountains. For now, we will take time to go through some of our gear. Cheers, Dale”
