In the next Women of Astrobiology talk, neuroscientist and 2026 Drake Award recipient Dr Lori Marino will discuss the diversity of complex intelligences on our planet and the limitations of viewing human intelligence as the standard for recognising other minds.
Intelligence On and Off Earth will also consider an essential question for astrobiology: how can we search for extraterrestrial life while minimising the risk of harm and exploitation?
