The Impact of Impacts: An Interactive & Synchronous Virtual Workshop

Join us, as we follow impactors on their journeys through space as they hurtled towards Earth, and as we examine the subsequent long- and short-term consequences for habitability.

We’ll tackle topics including:

– What’s headed towards the Earth
– Earth prior to impact
– What happens at the point of impact
– How is the impactor and target material processed
– Elsewhere in the solar system

We’ll discuss open questions and potential areas to develop new research projects.
