On the theoretical side three papers have been completed: “An Analysis of the Mariner Z Microwave Observations of Venus, ” submitted to the Astrophysical Journal; “Properties of the Clouds of Venus, ” in press, in Proceedings of the JPL – Caltech Lunar and Planetary Conference, Harrison Brown et aL, editors, 1966; and “Thermodynamic Equilibria in Planetary Atmospheres, ” submitted to the Astrophysical Journal. A copy of each of these papers is enclosed at the end of this report.
