Return To Everest Update 5 April: Scott Parazynski: Gorak Shep and Kala Patthar

Scott checked in today at Gorak Shep after his hike up from Lobuche using his SPOT Satellite Personal Tracker. He then hiked up to the summit of Kala Patthar, a peak with a summit of 5,545 meters (18,192 ft).
Scott will be arriving at Everest Base Camp on 6 April. After settling in we should start to get a lot more from Scott via a BGAN (INMARSAT satellite) phone.
