Astrobiologist Dale Andersen Antarctic Status Report 7 November 2018: Repairing Heavy Damage

“We are still recovering from the damaging winds that trashed the camp, but as soon as things calm down we will get busy and pull it all back together.”

“The tents were not just knocked down, they were all completely destroyed so I will have to pull a few others, and we also have two weatherports that we still need to put up. We will also need to assess other damage – skidoo windscreens blown out, crates with equipment tossed about etc. We will be busy that is for sure.”
